There's a lot going on with Phi Sig!!
This fall, we're recruiting and going through Fall New Member Orientation. Bid morning was
September 19th, and New Member Orientation started on Monday the 21st. Initiation will probably occur on October 25th. We
have four sophomore women going through the process.
In addition to Fall NMO, we're implementing new scholarship and risk management policies this
fall which include Study Buddies, Scrabble Game Nights, and Volleyball Games. We're also having tons of sisterhood events
like Phantom Phi, movie nights, and sisterhood dinners. Some of our Philanthropy this fall will be planting trees and cleaning
up at Coleman Park on Sept 26th, and assisting at Cornwall Manor in Lebanon for their Fall Bazaar. We're also working on planning
an alumnae event, and inviting all of our parents to campus for dinner. We'll be selling shirts for the LVC vs. Albright football
game in the near future, and look for us doing Trash for Cash on Campus! Homecoming weekend we'll be on the quad in our rocking
chairs for Rock-a-thon!
Our current Archon attended Phi Sigma Sigma's biannual convention in Norfolk, VA in August.
The Theta Tau chapter was honored with the Scholarship Summa Award for an overall GPA of a 3.2 or higher. We also received
an award for having the highest GPA of all sororities on our campus. Constitutional changes were voted on and a new supreme
council of Phi Sigma Sigma international was elected at convention.
If you're interested in Phi Sigma Sigma or any of these events, come and talk to us! We'd love
to see you!
